We’re terrible people for shouting at you in the post title. We only did it because we’re pumped to bring you an awesome giveaway today for a plugin that does…well, it does giveaways!

We’re partnering with KingSumo to give Developer Licenses to 2 of our readers for the KingSumo Giveaways plugin – valued at $594 each.

Holy arithmetic Batman, that’s $1188 in free product!
(You’re probably saying this right now. It’s okay, you should be excited.)

The people behind KingSumo Giveaways are the same people behind the wildly popular site AppSumo, which does daily deals and giveaways for entrepreneurs to give them the tools they need to earn more. Their viral giveaways have netted them over 700,000 email subscribers and over 110,000 Twitter followers. They’ve even generated 200,000 email signups from one giveaway!

Now you can use the same technology that AppSumo has perfected to run an unlimited number of giveaways and get tons of emails signups by simply installing a WordPress plugin. New subscribers get more entries when they share with friends and generate more signups, which incentivizes them to help you promote your contest. You’ll also have unlimited support and updates for as many sites as you want when you install your KingSumo Giveaways developer copy.

Why does that matter? Email lists are the most valuable marketing tools available to businesses just like yours – they’re worth more than friends, followers, fans, devotees, brand advocates, stalkers, or anyone else. A great study from McKinsey & Company shows that email subscribers purchase more products and at higher rates than social media followers:

Email remains a significantly more effective way to acquire customers than social media – nearly 40 times that of Facebook and Twitter combined…the rate at which e-mails prompt purchases is not only estimated to be at least three times that of social media, but the average order value is also 17 percent higher.

You can use this plugin to easily set up and schedule giveaways for your own products, other products that your ideal customers will like, or to partner with similar companies for products so that you can both build your email list for direct, effective marketing.

To make this even cooler, we’re using KingSumo’s Giveaways plugin right now to run this giveaway. You can see how it works in-action, and in about 18 seconds you’ll be entered into a contest worth $1188 for free! If you share this contest with friends, we’ll even give you 3 additional entries per friend that enters as a way of saying, “Thanks for sharing!” You can gather as many entries as possible by the 5pm EST July 23 deadline.

It’s simple – email marketing offers high conversion opportunities, and KingSumo Giveaways offers a great way to exponentially grow your email list while giving away cool stuff to customers. Enter our contest for a chance to win 1 of 2 lifetime, unlimited developer copies of KingSumo Giveaways to build your business’s email list:

  1. So, I answer the correct answer, enter my e-mail and press “Enter”, then the same page reloads, not the confirmation page I expect to see (the one with the lucky url etc).

I don’t get any confirmation mail.

This happens on mobile and on desktop using chrome and IE.

    1. Hey Morten, so sorry about that! Looks like there was a caching issue. I’ve cleared it and it now just worked for me with a test entry. Can you retry please?

      And good luck! 🙂

  2. Beka,

    Awesome write-up.

In the latest update of the kingsumo, there is an option to push the confirmation emails to the email providers. That happens automatically, and no manual downloading the CSV file.

You can edit the post now. One more thing is that we can submit the feedback to their UserVoice section.

    Hope you come across that.

    1. Hey Suresh, thanks so much for the update! The confirmation email addition is a nice touch for sure 🙂

      1. You’re Welcome, Beka 🙂 Yes, that will alone make the list more responsive and less size to handle.

        Quality over Quantity.
