This weeks seemed to be a slower week except for some upgrades from EDD and iThemes’ Exchange – probably because our US friends (us included!) are preparing for Thanksgiving. Eating marathons do take extreme mental preparation :).
- Easy Digital Downloads had a big week in terms of releases. The Frontend Submissions add-on was updated with some cool new features, including the addition of forms. They also released an Android version of their sales/earnings tracker app to complement the iOS app they already offer.
- iThemes also had some major announcements this week, including a sale on their toolkit, which includes all of their products, as well as Exchange add-ons for free offers and custom URLs. They also released new integrations for email marketing platforms, including MadMimi, AWeber, Campaign Monitor, and Get Response.
- We talked about hosting last week, and have some things for you from WP Mayor you may be interested: Reviewing SiteGround Hosting and some special offers from WP Engine. They also posted an article on FormGet, which is a Contact Form-builder plugin
- Our next “theme” for our articles is on memberships and subscription models, so this article from Entrepreneur on the Subscription Service model should be relevant.
- Looking to improve comments on your site? Tom Ewer wrote an article on WP Explorer about 5 plugins that improve the comments system.
